E-Book Prices Reduced For Christmas

For the Christmas Season I’ve reduced the prices for my Columbus e-books from $4.99 to $2.99.

Adversity's Wake 6-25 X 9-5 300dpi

This is the incredible, true story of the calamitous fourth voyage of Christopher Columbus to the “New World.” It has all the elements of fiction…hurricanes, pitched battles with the natives of Panama, being marooned on Jamaica for more than a year, mutiny by half of the crew, bloody battles with former shipmates, a heroic trip in an open canoe over the open ocean before final rescue.

This dual-language book is designed for Spanish-Speakers studying English. English is shown in boldface followed immediately by the Spanish translation in italics to see how good their comprehension is. But, because of the unique formatting, the English text can easily be read as if the Spanish portion wasn’t even there.

To take advantage of this sale price you need to do the following:

Go to and register for an account. They do not share your information with anyone and they won’t send you spam messages.

The book can be downloaded for the Kindle or any of the following e-readers: Apple iPad/iBooks, Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and most e-reading apps including Stanza, Aldiko, Adobe Digital Editions, others.

Next, go to: and “buy” the book. When you go to check out of the site enter the following code: VB92L (not case sensitive). You will be charged the sale price of $2.99.

If you would like to read the book in Spanish first, then you need to buy: La Virada Por La Estela de la Adversidad: El Cuarto Viaje Desafortunado De Cristóbal Colón.

Follow the same instructions for buying the English version, but enter the code PE75U.

The books are also available in paperback. Unfortunately, because of printing costs I’m not able to offer a discounted price but the English/Spanish version is available here:

The Spanish/English version can be purchased here:
