Gene Townsend of Dunlap, Illinois has posted a story complete with photos of the Minimalist Electric Powered Shantyboat he uses on the Illinois River.
If you’ve got the itch to build your own get-away on a limited budget this story is well worth the read for Townsend’s solutions for powering his craft.
